The 19-year relationship between Russian billionaire Roman Abramovich and Chelsea is coming to an end. Due to pressure from the conflict in Ukraine, the owner of The Blues has just announced his decision to sell the club.

In an interview quoted by Euro Sport, Premier League CEO Richard Masters commented on Abramovich’s choice:  “It was the right decision. The situation escalated extremely quickly over the past 7 days and Abramovich has come to an end. argue that it is irreversible in the current context. 

This is a welcome decision and is clearly in the interest of everyone, including the fans. The quicker the sale is completed, the sooner there will be certainty.”

 The day Abramovich left Chelsea is approaching.

The leader of the most attractive league on the planet does not rule out the possibility that Abramovich’s sale of the West London giant can be completed in just 10 days :  “I think the fastest transfer process ever in the Premier League is 10 days. , but not that the fastest transfer record is unbreakable. It usually takes weeks, but the process depends on the complexity and number of potential new owners.”

Swiss billionaire Hansjorg Wyss has been identified as part of a group of characters capable of taking over Chelsea from Abramovich.
