Jesse Lingard is no longer happy at Man Utd and is looking to move to Newcastle as soon as possible.
Jesse Lingard is determined to leave Old Trafford, but he is also frustrated by the demands that Man Utd make for partners.
Specifically, Newcastle offered to pay Lingard’s entire salary for the rest of the season and pay an additional £ 2.5 million in loan fees. However, the Red Devils asked Thich to add a clause to this contract. Accordingly, if Newcastle succeeds in relegation, they will have to pay Man Utd an additional 12 million pounds .
Understandably, Eddie Howe’s side were shocked by the request, especially given that Lingard’s contract expires at the end of the season.
Lingard has barely played for Man Utd this season and the England midfielder has made it clear to manager Ralf Rangnick that he wants to leave to play in the first team, possibly this month or at the end of the season.
As a result, the Daily Mail revealed, Lingard was surprised when a Reds manager called him this week and asked where he wanted to go. Lingard felt he had made his intentions clear in advance and felt unheard. Lingard thinks Man Utd is making things up.
It must also be added that West Ham and Tottenham both showed interest in Lingard earlier this month but the Red Devils have turned down offers from these teams.
