Former player Paul Parker thinks that young star Jadon Sancho has completely disappeared at Manchester United.
United brought in Sancho from Borussia Dortmund for £73m last summer and the England international has so far struggled at Old Trafford. Sancho, who has played 23 games for United this season, scoring just two goals and providing no assists, was left out of the starting line-up for the weekend’s clash with Aston Villa. Then, he entered the field of play for the last 12 minutes of the game in a faint way.
Parker, a former Manchester United defender, has accused the 21-year-old of not watching the game being played in front of him. Parker told Talk of the Devils: ” Sancho came on late. Sancho, at the time, I didn’t know what he was doing. He didn’t watch the game.”
Sancho is accused of being distracted at MU
“I don’t know if he has his iPad on with Netflix , because he definitely doesn’t watch the game. He’s not fine. There are a lot of players who are not focused at the moment, they don’t know where they are going. They really don’t know. Sancho for £70m, is he thinking, will I be here next season? What’s going on?”
The disappointing draw against Aston Villa made it impossible for the Red Devils to shorten the gap with the top 4 even though West Ham lost to Leeds United.
