Nick Candy is the latest billionaire to plan to buy Chelsea from Roman Abramovich. The 49-year-old tycoon offered a bid of £2.5 billion, including a £1.5 billion package to rebuild the Stamford Bridge stadium. Nick and his brother Christian Candy are real estate investors, holding many valuable lands and buildings around the world.

Nick owns a £75m West London mansion and a £60m superyacht. Nick’s wife is famous singer and model Holly Valance. The 38-year-old beauty is widely known through the Australian television series Neighbors. The couple married in 2012 and have two children together. 

Nick is a Chelsea fan.

The Candy brothers got their start in real estate when they bought an apartment in Earl’s Court, London, England with a £6,000 loan from their grandmother. After 18 months of remodeling, they resold the apartment for 172,000 pounds.

Besides making money in real estate, Nick also has another side job in the field of advertising. While Christian worked at Bank of Merrill Lynch. However, both gave up and devoted themselves to real estate full-time.

In 2004, the Candy brothers bought the 17-storey office block Bowater House in Knightsbridge, London. Two years later, the building was demolished and rebuilt as One Hyde Park.

This is a residential and retail complex; where the offices of many businesses such as Rolex, McLaren Automotive and Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank are located.

In 2020, Nick put his superyacht for sale for £53.5 million. Superyacht includes 6 cabins, helipad, bar, two bedroom suites.

The love between Nick and the beautiful Holly Valance began in 2009 when the two met at a mutual friend’s dinner in Los Angeles, USA.

“I don’t know him. I thought if we couldn’t go that far, we could be good friends. I was shocked when I first saw the superyacht. Oh my God! It’s a mansion! on the water. It was unbelievable,” Holly said.

Nick proposed to Holly at a 5-star luxury resort in the Maldives. The couple held a lavish wedding in 2012 in Beverly Hills. After getting married, Holly appeared less in showbiz. Instead, she focused on her role as a mother, taking care of a small family.
